Holidays and Bugs!

Hi crafters.

Have been missing in action for a while, as my children were on school holidays and then my daughter was off for another week, with a chest infection - which hubby has now got! Thankfully, they now seem to be recovering well.

Before the school break, I did manage to make a card for my daughter's friend, who turned 4, and my wonderful sister-in-law, who has one of those '0' birthdays this week! I will post these later for you to have a look.

I am now working on 50th birthday invitations for a friend, in the shape of a guitar, so watch this space over the coming weeks.

Have a great Sunday morning and thank you for taking the time to stop by.

Love and prayers,
Antonietta

'Hello Kitty' Valentine's Day Card

Black card stock, using the card feature on the 'Hello Kitty Greetings ' Cricut cartridge at 7".
Only two layers were used: Layer 1 in white & Shift Layer 1 for the lilac bow and nose!
Icicle Stickles were added to the circle of the lilac bow.
Red glitter was added to the heart.
I cut a 6 1/2" shadow from white paper, to allow a suitable message to be written.

Please feel free to leave a comment to let me know what you think.

Valentine's Day Treat Bags for my son's Year 4 Class

Clear Bags, filled with 'Haribo Hearts' (yummy!) - 4" x 3 1/8"
Black card stock, folded in half, stapled to the top of the bag - 4" x 3 1/4"
Red card stock run through the 'Kimmy Luvs' Cuttlebug embossing folder - 3 1/8" x 1 7/8"
Heart cut from 'Simply Charmed' Cricut cartridge, at 2" page 30 (white and black card stock)
Using the Gypsy, I used Layer 1 and 'hid' the contour lines.
Foam pads were used to raise the hearts up.
Voila! - Happy Valentine's Day

Please feel free to leave a comment to let me know what you think.

the challenge for this month was to use the colour Black with your favourite colour!
